Check three things: whether the app's description says it involves no real money (then it's a different, social game), whether it carries an international casino brand, and whether its package name matches the APK we checked.
“Spin Gold” identifies at least three different things, covered on our Spin Gold page: the real-money app this site lists, social casino games on the Play Store that use the same or similar name, and an international online casino brand. The icon and colour scheme won’t tell you which one you have. These checks will.
1. Read the full description
A Play Store listing that says the game involves no real money, no gambling, or “for entertainment only” is a social casino game. It is a different product from the real-money platform, even if it looks similar. Social games are not online money games under India’s 2025 Act. The real-money app this site covers is not on the Play Store; it is distributed as an APK.
2. Look at the branding and claims
If what you are looking at carries international licence badges, large welcome-bonus claims in euros or dollars, or a level of polish well beyond a small regional app, compare it with the international casino brand described on our Spin Gold page. That is a separate company, not an upgraded version of this app.
3. Check the package name and version
The APK on our Spin Gold page, read directly from the file, is:
- Package name:
com.spin.glg.games - Version: 1.1.3
- Size: about 59.2 MB
- Permissions: nine, with no access to SMS, contacts, location, camera, or storage
On Android, find the installed app’s package name under Settings > Apps > [app] > App details. A different package name means a different product. For a file you downloaded but haven’t installed, compare its SHA-256 fingerprint.
What the file says about who built it
This Spin Gold APK is signed with the same certificate as Spin777, Slotswinner, and the other 11 apps in our directory. It is the same framework under a different brand (the signing-key findings). See also Spin Gold vs Spin777 vs Slotswinner.
Before you contact support
Fake “Spin Gold customer care” numbers circulate on social media and in search results. Use only a support route inside the app itself, and never share an OTP, UPI PIN, or screen recording. See how to verify real customer support.
Real-money gaming is prohibited in India under the 2025 Online Gaming Act. See online gaming law in India.
